A massive update came for The Manderville Gold Saucer including the Triple Triad, tournaments, Mahjong.
FFXIV 5.4 Triple Triad Update and Tournaments
- The restriction on the number of one to three star cards in a deck has been removed, regardless of the number of cards you have registered.
- Time restrictions for Triple Triad have been changed from 30 seconds per turn to 90 seconds for the entirety of a match.
- The advanced rule "Draft" has been added.
- New tournaments have been added are accessible after completing the quest "Triple Triad Trial," speak with the Open tournament official in the Gold Saucer (X:4.5 Y:7.4) to unlock these new tournament modes.
- The Triple Triad card list has been revamped.
- The layout of the Edit Deck window has been adjusted, and an option to set filters and customize sorting has been added.
- Tables will no longer appear between players during Triple Triad matches in public areas.
- New cards have been added.
- New NPC opponents for Triple Triad have been added.
FFXIV 5.4 Doman Mahjong Update
The Doman Mahjong has been updated:
- Quick matches have been added.
- An option to adjust the display of the dora indicator has been added.
- To better distinguish between Noten and Tenpai in the event of a draw, they will now be displayed in different colors.
- The discard pile now indicates whether a tile was discarded immediately after it was drawn or not.
