Amid battery of Cyberpunk 2077 reviews released yesterday (ours can be found here), a new article bearing an important warning for epileptic players is doing the rounds on social media.
During her playthrough for her review, Game Informer editor Liana Ruppert suffered from several instances that triggered her epilepsy. Certain sequences with Johnny Silverhand, as well as the instigation of braindances, featured repeated high-frequency flashing.
While many studios are already playing the accessibility game, the best recent example being The Last of Us Part 2, CD Projekt Red seems to have stuck with a basic warning message. However, it's clear this isn't sufficient in the case of Cyberpunk 2077.
If you're epileptic or prone to seizures, we highly recommend reading the article.
Cyberpunk 2077 goes live around the world on Thursday, December 10. You can find the launch times linked below.
