The Lunar New Year celebrates the Chinese New Year in Overwatch, and 2021 is the Year of the Ox. As usual, we will have weekly challenges, exclusive game mods and eight new skins.
The event will be available from February 4 to February 25 and will be running during the 2021 BlizzConline.
Lunar New Year Skins
The Legendary skins are available for 3,000 credits. Note that last year's skins are accessible again for 1,000 credits. You'll also be able to win Legendary cosmetics with Lunar Loot Boxes.

Lunar New Year's Weekly Challenges
As usual, weekly challenges will allow you to win cosmetics. All you have to do is win nine games per week — regardless of the mode — to receive free icons, sprays and epic skins.
The first week will be focused on Baptiste, followed by McCree and finally Reaper.
Remember that these cosmetics will be available during the Lunar event only.
Lunar New Year Game Modes
Bounty Hunter
A new addition to the Arcade rotation. Earn points by completing bounties. The player who gets the first kill becomes a Target; all others are Bounty Hunters. To earn extra points, you will have to eliminate the target. If you manage to kill the Target, you'll become the next Target.
Capture the Flag Blitz
An even more intense Capture the Flag mode. The flags of the two teams are much closer together, and six captures are required to win the game instead of three.
Just like the Halloween or Christmas events, a few small adjustments have been made to the Lunar New Year game modes. These arcade modes are time-limited.
Blizzcon 2021 is coming fast, and there have been rumors about the long-awaited arrival of Overwatch 2. It seems unlikely that we will be able to play it this year.
