One of PlayStation's most successful and critically acclaimed new IPs is getting a movie adaptation.
Developed by Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions, Ghost of Tsushima will be in the big screen in the future. Sucker Punch Productions, the studio behind the game, will serve as executive producers, while John Wick's Chad Stahelski is its director.
On another note, it has been recently announced that Ghost of Tsushima has sold over 6.5m units since July 17. The title is also PlayStation 4’s fastest selling first-party original IP debut because it sold more than 2.4 copies in only three days.
There are no words on a release date for the film yet, but it's worth mentioning that Stahelski is busy with John Wick 4 at the moment. For further details, please check out Deadline's article.
