The breakout smash-hit video game Ghost of Tsushima has won the Game Awards Player's Voice Award, beating out other 2020 big names like Doom Eternal, Hades, and The Last of Us Part II.

The game made it through three rounds of voting to win, edging out TLOU2 47% to 33%, according to Games Award organizer Geoff Keighley.

Shost of Tsushima, released in July, received glowing reviews and sold more than 2 million copies in its first three days. The game is set in Tsushima Island in the late 13th century and follows samurai Jin Sakai as he tries to repel a Mongol invasion. It's an open world stealth game with realistic fighting maneuvers.

The Game Awards 2020 airs on Dec. 10. Sucker Punch's title is up for eight awards, including Game of the Year. How many do you think it will win?
