FFXIV 5.5 Patch Notes: Achievements & Rewards
- Achievement rewards can now be redeemed directly from the Achievements List window.
- Achievements can now be filtered by reward type.
- New achievements and titles have been added:
• I Found That: Miner VII
• I Found That: Botanist VII
• I Caught That VII - Certain duties will now count toward the completion of achievements. Following this change, Unreal trials will no longer count toward the completion of achievements.
FFXIV 5.5 Patch Notes: Various Changes
- Players can now switch to high resolution UI assets (Windows® and Mac)
- A new gamepad type has been added under Gamepad Settings in the System Configuration menu.
- The checkbox on the confirmation prompt that appears when backing up character and client settings on the FINAL FANTASY XIV servers has been removed.
- The PlayStation®5 DualSense™ controller can now be used on Windows®.
- The resolution of certain fonts that appear in various menus has been increased in accordance with their window size.
- The font resolution of nameplates, fly text, and pop-up text has been increased.
- The default assignment for "Confirm" has been changed in certain regions. (PlayStation®4)
- Loading processes when logging in and changing areas have been improved, reducing load times.
- Additions have been made to the auto-translation dictionary.
- New music has been added.
