The Cross Over event debuted on Fortnite with the Team Battles taking place over the weekend.
In this event, players could select their favourite NBA team to represent, and then compete to gain points for their team.
The Los Angeles Lakers were able to gain enough points and snatch First Place, just beating out Chicago Bulls in the last 12 hours of the event.
The rewards will make their way to the players within the next 30 days, although it should be a lot quicker. The rewards include cosmetics, such as Back Bling, as well as V-Bucks.
This isn't the end of the Fortnite x NBA event, however, as the previewed Locker Bundles will be opening soon.
The bundles, chosen by Donovan Mitchell and Trae Young, will be available for purchase from 8pm EST on May 25th.
The former will feature: Cozy Chomps Outfit, Sharky Shawl Back Bling, Stark Splitter Pickaxe, Dynamic Fire Wrap and Fire Spinner Emote. Trae Young's will have: Scarlet Commander Outfit, Gold Digger Pickaxe, Happy Stars Wrap and Baller Emote.
The new Fortnite event will coincide with the NBA Playoffs, bringing a new competition and cosmetics to the game. Here is all the content, as well as information on the Fortnite x NBA Team Battles.
