VALORANT's latest Agent is here with an official reveal trailer! This shows KAY/O relive fights, learning and overcoming the new challenges that arise at each step. This also gives us a clue to some of their abilities.
The video begins with KAY/O being killed numerous times, resetting and going again only to be killed at a later point. While I don't believe this will appear in the Agent's abilities, it sets in the robot theme, especially as fans had compared KAY/O to the target dummies on the Practice Range.
The first ability shown is a knife thrown, similar to Jett's, but this seems to be what creates the purple aura we've seen in leaks. It is unclear what this will do, there are suggestions that it disables traps and/or prevent opponent Agent's from using abilities.
We then see KAY/O throw a ball which explodes on impact to create a damaging area; similar to Sage's Slow Orb.
Rounding it out is another flash being added to the game. While it is the last ability shown I can't imagine that it would be an Ultimate. KAY/O tosses a small canister, which then blinds opponents in the area.
What could be the Ultimate, however, is we see KAY/O power-up, gaining a more menacing appearance, before going into a firefight. It is unclear what this power-up may actually do, but it sure looks scary. It also seems that KAY/O draws the power from the dead bodies of opponents, but this could just be how the angles are in the video.
While not shown in the video explicitly, the idea of KAY/O silencing opponents and preventing them from using abilities still goes strong; especially due to the video's tagline.
"Seek all Radiants. Suppress their powers."
KAY/O was leaked earlier today, and it seems that plans were to reveal the new Agent properly at a festival celebrating VALORANT's one year anniversary on June 22nd. The release of this Reveal Trailer could be Riot Games' response to the leak, putting out official content before any more damage is done, and to also ride on the hype.
KAY/O is due to join the VALORANT roster in Episode 3 which is being titled Reflection.
