Pokémon Unite: The heroic move that demonstrates the usefulness of the most underrated characters

Although the auxiliary and support champions are not the most popular in Pokémon Unite, they still have a lot to say in the new MOBA for Nintendo Switch. To prove it, a play that was worth a win is enough.

Pokémon Unite: The heroic move that demonstrates the usefulness of the most underrated characters

Players are still figuring out how to play the recently released Pokémon Unite. There's not been much beyond a possible Tier List, a true metagame with the appropriate distribution of roles and positions has not yet been developed —  something that has caused some species and roles to fall into oblivion.

One of the main roles that seems to have gone unnoticed is support — it's been possible to play, and win, without using any support species — like Eldegoss, Mr. Mime, and Wigglytuff. While this role suffers from a notable lack of variety in species, it reigns supreme in terms of utility.

It looks like this may change soon, with players like r/checkmarks26 making plays like the one below.

While agile champions may seem like the most powerful in the game, things may soon turn around against truly coordinated teams, and decent support will become valuable. In this case we see how Wigglytuff is able to save the game solo, thanks to the effects of Unroll.
