After a delay of more than a year, Halo Infinite will finally be released on December 8 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC, following Microsoft's announcement at Gamescom 2021.
Thanks to the Steam listing for the game, we now also know the minimum specifications you'll need to run the game on Windows.
Minimum requirements:
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 10 RS3 x64
- Processor: AMD FX-8370 or Intel i5-4440
- Memory: 8GB RAM
- Graphics: AMD RX 570 or Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 50 GB available space
Recommended Requirements:
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 10 19H2 x64
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or Intel i7-9700k
- Memory: 16GB RAM
- Graphics: Radeon RX 5700 XT or Nvidia RTX 2070
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 50 GB available space
It must be noted that 50 GB HDD space is quite a low number for a major AAA title, especially in the face of ballooning sizes for titles such as rival shooter Call of Duty.
On launch, players will be able to access both the Campaign and Multiplayer modes for Halo Infinite.
