Coming to PlayStation, Xbox and PC through the Epic Games Store this winter, Alan Wake Remastered has created quite the buzz online. The first images of the popular title have now been released, and they show a significantly changed protagonist.
Naturally, the decade-old game needed a bit of a sprucing up, but Sam Lake, Creative Director at Remedy Entertainment, told fans to brace themselves.

As you can see Alan Wake's design has changed slightly. It's strange to get used to, even if the changes aren't too drastic. However, given the power of current machines compared to the game's original release on Xbox 360, they're necessary.
Rumours suggest the game could come as early as October, but we'll wait and see for official confirmation and a trailer.
Alan Wake Director Sam Lake says the experience remains intact in the forthcoming remaster, but the visuals will benefit from next-gen enhancements.
