After a player shared their devotion for Poppy, a Riot Games employee decided to give them a very unique gift never seen before in the League of Legends Community.

LoL: Riot Games sent a unique gift to Poppy's biggest fan

Poppy is one of the oldest champions in League of Legends. Even though she is not the most picked in the rift many summoners still play her. However, there was one that stood out from the crowd and wanted to show the community their true devotion and prove to everyone that the champion had real fans. The situation reached the ears of a Riot Games employee that decided to reward the player.

Everything began when a player showed how little interest they had in Poppy, being the only champion they didn't buy. This message was taken as an offense by our protagonist who wanted to share with his inventory totally full of this champion : masteries, skins and even emotes. The player also said they created "a Poppy fan club and made memes about the champion ."

An employee of Riot Games decided to prepare a gift for the player. It's not every day that you find someone so dedicated to a champion, which is why they gifted them an exclusive t-shirt that had been created in-house to mark the release of Poppy's rework in season 6. An item owned only by Riot Games employees.

League of Legends

Riot Games and its employees often have small gestures like this with the most dedicated members of the community. Some of the prizes are pretty much institutionalized, like when you're on the verge of getting a thousand wins (you can request a Riot Games employee to play with you) or get all the unlockable skins in game (if you contact Riot Games, the studio will be able to unlock one of the completely inaccessible skins contained in its vault).
