With Endwalker fast approaching, the Square Enix teams announced a new official site update for the next expansion to Final Fantasy XIV releasing this November 19 for players who have pre-ordered the expansion.
It was through this update that we confirmed that Anima will arrive this fall in Final Fantasy XIV.
"Encased in an otherwordly carapace and bound with thic chain, this abomination is agony made flesh. Within its hollow eyes burns a baleful light, as its jagged maw hands wide, belching forth searing flame."
We don't have any information about this trial boss yet, but its appearance here shows that this summon will be directly involved in Endwalker's story.
However, we can already imagine that the boss having two faces, the groups of players could have to separate into two teams to progress in the fight.
Many changes are to be expected with Endwalker, both with the classes and the already existing features. The new eight-player raid tier "Pandemonium" will also be introduced with the expansion.
