Located near the Sangonomiya Shrine on Watatsumi Island, Enkanomiya is coming soon to Genshin Impact.
Arriving as part of Version 2.4, you'll need to have fulfilled certain criteria to unlock it:
- Adventure Rank 30 or higher
- Complete the Archon Quest "Chapter II: Act III - Omnipresence Over Mortals"
- Complete the World Quests "The Still Water's Flow" and "The Moon-Bathed Deep"
An area that is deprived of sunlight, you'll instead find two dfifferent types of night.
- The Evernight
- The Whitenight
To change between the two manually, you'll need to activate special mechanisms found all over the area, that are linked to Dainichi Mikoshi, the artificial sun.
You'll also need the Golden Bridle of Enkanomiya.
By changing between the two, you can make the Shield-Lights of Tokoyo appear or disappear, as well as Sunfire Phantasms - a type of distortion in the air.
Daises of Day and Night
Daises of Day and Night are mechanisms related to altars, and have different states depending on the day and night cycles.
They'll fill up during the cycle and can be activated when full, but their states will reset when you switch between Whitenight and Evernight.
Triangular Mechanisms
Another system that will likely be linked to puzzles, Triangular Mechanisms can be activated using attacks.
If you find one that is damaged, switch to Evernight and it will fix itself.
Key Sigils
You'll find Key Sigils when exploring Enkanomiya, and there are five in total.
Match each lock to its key to open its seal. They'll be marked on your minimap when you get close.
Ghostfish and Phase Gates
Finding schools of Ghostfish in Enkanomiya act similarly to the updrafts in Mondstadt, allowing you to glide continuously within them. Moving outside its radius will cause you to descend.
In addition, there are also ball-shaped mechanisms that act similarly to Phase Gates, allowing you to travel great distances more quickly.
Finally, Places of Essence Worship change depending on the phase of night. No information has been released on these at the moment, but we assume they'll also be linked to puzzles in the world of Teyvat.
