There are only a few hours left to wait to finally discover Elden Ring, and the latest tweaks have arrived. This is already the second patch for Elden Ring, even before its official release. Like its predecessor, the patch notes are not very specific, in order to avoid spoilers on the one hand, but also because it seems to be in the bad habits of the studio not to detail precisely what changes are made. This led to surprises every time on their previous games. As the preloading has started for many players, you have to select the game, then options, then: check for updates on consoles.
Elden Ring 1.02 Patch Note
Major changes from the latest update:
- Character control improvements
- Added background music and adjusted it
- Text adjustment
- Balance Adjustments
- Fixed NPC events and adjustments
- Fixed FPS loss under certain conditions.
- Fixed text bug in some languages.
- Fixed a bug that prevented the Xbox wireless headset from working properly.
- *The timing for the ray tracing implementation, which is scheduled for post-launch, will be revealed at a later date.
Some of these changes are quite interesting, since we had for example reported in our test that the background music was sometimes quite disappointing. We're curious to find out how the patch fixed things. We also noticed the absence of some text elements for puzzle clues, which was not very practical.
