On February 25, FromSoftware released their latest game, Elden Ring. The title published by Bandai Namco was a success and the top sales of the eighth week provided by the SELL confirms it.
The top 3 of physical sales
The release of Elden Ring was long overdue and it was worth it since we logically find it in first position with the Launch edition on PS5. However, the title is not unanimous since only the PlayStation versions are part of this top. We do not find the collectors editions either where the top of the previous week showed a very strong Horizon Forbidden West.
The second position is not for Elden Ring, but indeed for Pokémon Legends Arceus which regains a place in this top probably thanks to its update bringing some free new features. The latest Pokemon game has been around since its release and it doesn't seem like it's going anywhere anytime soon. It will still be necessary to see if other titles will manage to take it out of the top at some point.
The last Top 5 places taken by the same games
Regarding the last two places , they are dedicated to the game of the past week, namely Horizon Forbidden West which remains solid this week by keeping two places of this top with the basic versions on PS4 and PS5. Will he still be there next week?
Be careful, however, since this top takes into account physical sales only. PC sales are therefore not taken into account and it is surely on this platform that the majority of players benefit from the title of FromSoftware.
