While the next Lost Ark roadmap was accidentally released by Amazon, Soomin Park officially spoke to PCGamesN about the brand's prospects for the Global servers.
Toward a "fast" catchup phase
The Korean version of Lost Ark being the oldest, it has more playable classes, seven more than the international versions.
While the potential roadmap suggests adding two new classes to the Global servers, nothing official has been confirmed by Amazon and Smilegate yet.
The head of Amazon Games said that although the European version of the game was released long after the Korean one, an upgrade is expected soon . “The Western version of Lost Ark started a little late compared to other releases, but it will catch up quickly thanks to our post-launch content plans,” Park explains. “Western and Eastern versions of Lost Ark will always have some variations between them, although you will soon start to see more similarities in terms of released content for all players.”
Can we therefore hope for an upcoming class upgrade between the different servers, perhaps even before next year?
The importance of feedback
As Soomin Park says "player feedback is at the heart of game design and management [...] We will continue to offer players the opportunity to test content and provide feedback, so that we can make each update as polished as possible".
