It won't take long to confirm the recent leak on the appearance of the future Void jungler which will arrive in the days, even weeks to come on the PBE League of Legends. A new, much more precise leak finally allows us to admire the next champion to join the Summoner's Rift. As expected he, or rather she, is called Bel'Veth and its design is similar to that of a gigantic manta ray ready to devour its opponents.
A first in-game preview
The leak comes straight from the Youtube channel of Ryscu , a content creator who very often hits the bull's eye when it comes to leaks of all kinds. In her video, we can see a first in-game look at Bel'Veth, Empress of the Nether .
As supposed, we can observe two versions of the champion in the short extract, one dark in purple colors (colors of the Void) and another lighter with yellow or even golden hues. This would be due to the unlocking of his ultimate which would be called "Devour" . Once Bel'Veth reaches level 6, she assumes her "true form" and her appearance changes .
As expected, Bel'Veth possesses no humanoid traits and is indeed 100% creature , a champion archetype that hasn't appeared in Summoner's Rift for too long.
The latest Creature champion is Yuumi, released in May 2019—that's almost two years ago—since Riot itself considers Lillia to be a humanoid.
If everything suggests that these leaks are true, we will still have to wait for the official presentation from Riot Games – presentation which should not take long. Often, the more specific the leaks, the closer we are to the studio's revelation. We can therefore logically expect an announcement in the coming days – or even just before the deployment of patch 12.8 which will take place next week.
In the meantime, what do you think, are you seduced or not?
