After complicated years with the Covid-19 pandemic, competitions can finally resume and it is this weekend that the 2022 European Pokémon Championships will be held. Whether you are participating players or spectators via the various livestreams that will take place, you will find the full program of the event below. Note that it is in Frankfurt, Germany, that the various tournaments for the VGC (video game), the TCG (card game), Pokkén Tournament and Pokémon GO take place.

How to watch the 2022 European Championships?

As spectators, you will of course be able to follow the three days of tournaments live on the official Pokémon channels. Be careful however, each domain (TCG, VGC etc.) has its own Twitch channel. Also note that some French streamers will probably be able to rebroadcast the events on their personal channels.

You understood, this year there are 4 major competitions that will take place on 4 different games. Of course, the VGC and the TCG are divided into subcategories for Junior, Senior and Master.

VGC Competition

If this is your first time watching a Pokémon competition, we advise you to pay particular attention to the VGC and the Master category. You will see how strategic you have to be to win the battles that will take place in the Pokémon Sword and Shield game.

  • The VGC Master final will take place on Sunday April 24 at 4:00 p.m.
