Malenia is a really formidable boss on Elden Ring, because the latter can regenerate when she inflicts damage on you, but what is it when the latter regains life continuously? A wave of complaint. Indeed, the players have not ceased to show their dissatisfaction with this radical change. The latter has become completely unkillable in multiplayer, making the strength of Let Me Solo Her or any allies completely useless.
We do not know if it was the will of the developers, but the development teams address their apologies for the inconvenience and correct the thing. Here is the detail of the update released by FromSoftware which is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam).
Elden Ring Patch 1.04.1
- Fixed a bug where the duration of the Cerulean Crystal Tear effect from the Vial of Miraculous Salvation was reduced.
- Fixed a bug with Malenia, Miquella's sword not healing properly in multiplayer.
- Fixed a bug that caused some bosses to die at unexpected times.
- Fixed a bug with the Beast of Elden not acting correctly under certain circumstances.
- Correction of some texts.
The end of Calvary with Malenia
Clearly, the Crystal Tear will once again be able to restore 20% of total CP and certain bosses will no longer drop dead in front of you due to an unknown cosmic force. It is not known if the Fire Giant's suicide can always be used for the kill , but be aware that this practice is not really recommended to benefit from the experience of Elden Ring. In multiplayer, Malenia will once again become the valkyrie we know , as she will no longer be able to regenerate her life points automatically without inflicting damage on you.
Patch 1.04.1 isn't as massive as Update 1.04, but does improve the quality of life for players with these small changes. Please note that it is important to update your game, so that you can benefit from the correction of Malenia, but also that of the other bosses.
