If you've played FromSoftware's latest game, Elden Ring, you know the bosses there are dreadful. However, you will have to defeat a good number of them in order to make a name for yourself in the Underworld by becoming the Lord of Elden. But while they're going to give you a hard time, these bosses could end up serving you well… by fighting alongside you!
From enemies to friends
The mod, called "Summon NPCs and Bosses" comes straight from Japan. It was posted on NexusMods by Kurejitto, and has been a hit with Breakoutless people around the world. The reason is very simple, thanks to this new creation, you can fight alongside emblematic bosses and NPCs of Elden Ring.
After downloading the mod, the characters in question will be available in the form of summons, which you can use as many times as you want. Here is the list of all the bosses and NPCs available (in order of addition on the mod):
- Melina, the mysterious young woman
- Malenia, Miquella's sword
- Radagon of the Golden Order
- Sellen, the witch
- Millicent, victim of putrefaction
- Melina and Sellen (Duet)
- Melina and Millicent (Duet)
- Rennala, queen of the full moon
- Melina, Sellen and Millicent (Trio)
- Ranni, the witch
- crucible knight
- Apostle Lighthouse (Duet)
- Malenia, goddess of putrefaction
- Godfrey, First Lord of Elden
- Maliketh, the Ebon Blade
- Morgott, King of the Forsaken
- Blaidd, the half-wolf warrior
The creator of the mod has worked on everything, he has notably made sure that the bosses in question are not too powerful , and has therefore adjusted their life bar as well as their attack power. History that the fights are still balanced, and that you still have work to do on your side.
Additionally, it has expanded the summoning scope of these rather unique acolytes, allowing them to move around more freely. According to the mod's creator, he wanted to be able to travel with them freely, "like with the companions, in Skyrim" . A nice nod to Bethesda's game.
New characters to come?
It's quite likely, at least that's what the mod's creator suggests. Since the creation of the mod, new NPCs and/or bosses are constantly being added to it. Despite everything, most of the bosses are already present there and it will therefore be necessary, for the next additions, to turn to NPCs who are a hit on the networks like Alexander the pot or Miriel the turtle. However, since they don't have an attack move, it would be difficult to mod them.
In any case, this mod will have been talked about and we can't wait to see what the community will do with it!
