It's the Director's Cut period for the PS4 exclusives of the time, with Ghost of Tsushima leading the way, and Death Stranding not far behind. Released in June 2020, Ghost of Tsushima turned out to be a good game combining infiltration, sword fighting and open world, which gave it a lot in common with Assassin's Creed and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
Ghost of Tsushima review
With its satisfying gameplay and solid lifespan (around 30 to 40 hours), Ghost of Tsushima is an additional quality exclusive for the PS4. He knows how to reuse the mechanisms and foundations established by other licenses, and give them his personal touch. And what a touch, it's not just an Assassin's Creed in Japan from the time of the samurai, it has its own quasi-cinematic visual code, an atmosphere to cut with a katana, and the sublime the island of Tsushima which naturally replaces a part elements of the interface that are likely to inspire in turn, even if they could have gone further. All tinged with poetry, which is rather daring for a title for the general public. We regret, however, that it has major weaknesses on a few fundamental points, with a great lack of variety in the points of interest, the fights and especially the duels, which, combined with an ill-adjusted difficulty, bored us on the end. Nevertheless, it remains a very good experience and a game full of personality.
