Worthy heir to the Souls series, Bloodborne is a demanding game that will leave a lot of players who did not know where they were stepping on the floor. The task is however far from being insurmountable as long as one pays close attention to one's line of conduct, as always with quality soul-likes. Iron discipline and constant attention are therefore the two sine qua non conditions so that your progress is not synonymous with frustration.

Very strongly inspired by Souls, Bloodborne knows how to stand out from its elders with a ton of good ideas, a sublime new artistic direction and a much more dynamic gameplay resolutely focused on offense. Still just as brutal and demanding, From Software's title is clearly not one to do in half measures and beware of those who embark on the adventure without knowing what they are getting into: you will suffer, and you will love this.
