That's quite a surprise, even though Doublelift has always embodied Captain America in our hearts. The dream became tue, as Team Liquid took advantage of the 2019 Rift Rivals to announce their partnership with Marvel.

You know them well for being one of the best teams of the League of Legends NA scene. Team Liquid prepared a nice surprise for the fans before their game against Fnatic on the first day of the 2019 Rift Rivals group phase! The world's runners-up arrived on stage, a jersey flocked with the Avengers logo and the Captain America star.

As you would expect from such an outfit, Team Liquid is partnering with Marvel Entertainment.

For now, the collaboration extends only to Team Liquid merchandise on the Marvel theme - including this Captain America jersey to celebrate the Rift Rivals - but exclusive content is expected to arrive later.

After its association with Riot Games for comic strips on the League of Legends universe, Marvel Entertainment continues its investment in the world of video games and sports by signing for the first time a partnership with a team.

Well, DC, what's your next move?

Rift Rivals 2019: American streamers will co-stream the event!

A little something new this year for the third edition of the Rift Rivals. American streamers from the League of Legends partnership program will be able to stream the competition on their personal channel.
