We are getting closer! One of the most anticipated games of 2022 is just 3 weeks away from the official release. God of War: Ragnarök , the sequel to 2018's Game of the Year God of War, is coming November 9th to PS4 and PS5 . And the least we can say, especially if you don't yet have a PS5 in your possession, is that you will certainly have to clean up your PS4 in order to play it, because the game is literally HEAVY.
Not far from 120GB, just that
As you can see from the image below, God of War: Ragnarök would require 118,509GB of free space on your console at the time of installation . This is more than double the size of its predecessor God of War, which weighed "only" 45GB in comparison when it was released.
Good luck to all those who want to play it on a 500GB PS4 and who already have NBA 2K23 and Modern Warfare installed at least. A cleaning is finally necessary!
A masterpiece awaiting
God of War (2018) was for many an extraordinary game and when we see that its successor weighs almost 3 times as much, we can't help but imagine the work done and the extent of the content that awaits us.
An excerpt from the making-of of the game was also released overnight, showing us part of the development of God of War: Ragnarök. We find there a small recap of the previous opus as well as a lot of teasing concerning the new one: new characters, the arrival of the winter preceding the Ragnarök which arrives, novelties in the combat system, and how all the people involved have worked over the last few years that are not necessarily obvious.
With everything we know now, we can't hide our impatience. The game looks quite incredible and we can't wait to find Kratos and Atreus, now teenagers, in this apocalyptic war against gods, giants and other overpowered entities. Also note that this opus is supposed to put an end to the saga in the Nordic universe . What will be next for the license?
