The first major content update is now available on Disney Dreamlight Valley! The opportunity to meet Scar , one of Disney's best-known villains, and team up with him to make the Sunny Plateau look green and vibrant again. This update also fixes a ton of bugs (full list available below in another article) and gives you access to a new special Halloween Star Path!
Scar and the continuity of the story
Here's what the update lets you do in broad strokes:
- Meeting Scar and developing your Friendship with him up to Level 10: this involves many new quests, including one to advance the main story.
- The possibility of taming the Ravens of the Forgotten Lands,
- New area to explore: a cave that serves as a mine in the Sunny Plateau! Equip your Pickaxe to bring back rare and new ores (ruby, Vitalys crystal)
- New furniture at Picsou,
- New Way of the Stars,
- More hair color available,
- The ability to interact and pet the Critters,
- Improved Photo Mode,
New Battle Pass and Halloween Furniture
The Way of the Villainous Stars
Path to the Stars Season 2 is now available and focuses on Disney/Pixar Villains and the Halloween party. A golden opportunity to complete the missions and win lots of new furniture and clothing.
The missions ask you above all to befriend the "bad guys" of the game. It is of course possible to spend Moon Stones in order to upgrade to Premium and obtain even more rewards.
New seasonal content
With Halloween on the horizon, you'll find new items in Scrooge's Shop and new items to craft at your workbench.
In order to restore the healing orb of the pillar of the Sunny Plateau in Disney's Dreamlight Valley, Merlin asks you to craft a miraculous elixir of growth. You will need rich soil! Here's how to get some through Scar's quest: Nature and Healing.
