For a limited time only, the Psychic-type Legendary Pokémon Mewtwo is coming to Pokemon GO in its Armored form!
As fans of the series may know, Armored Mewtwo makes its first appearance in the first Pokémon movie, Mewtwo Strikes Back.
It dons the armor after Team Rocket leader Giovanni persuades the genetically-created Pokémon to join his cause.
Now, with the release of the Evolution remake, Armored Mewtwo is back!
Genetic Pokémon
Mewtwo is a Pokémon that was created by genetic manipulation. However, even though the scientific power of humans created this Pokémon's body, they failed to endow Mewtwo with a compassionate heart.
How do you obtain Armored Mewtwo? Simple — just watch out for him spawning as a Level 5 Raid Boss between July 10 and July 31.
In addition to being a standard Raid Boss, it will also spawn more frequently in Gyms between 6-7 p.m, just like the Legendary Raid Evenings Niantic has introduced.
As well as Armored Mewtwo raids, there will also be some hot new cosmetic items coming to the Style Shop for you to customise your Trainer!
