With The Delicious Last Course — the recently postponed DLC for smash indie game Cuphead — postponed to early 2020, Studio MDHR are still capitalising on the game's popularity with a new, 30s-style animated series in conjunction with Netflix.
This will add to Netflix' video game-based IP, most notable being the well-received Castlevania animated series. Also in development are
Developed in-house by Netflix, the series is described as "safe for kids, but written so there are also things adults find funny" by its creators.
In an interview with IGN, Chad Moldenhauer said the series' showrunners are "aiming for the same kind of vibe as the game," which is known for containing certain adult themes.
As of now, no release date is known.
Despite statements to the contrary earlier this year, Nintendo has now chosen to reveal the latest addition to the Switch family — the Nintendo Switch Lite.
