The tactical shotgun is one of Fortnite Battle Royale's oldest weapons having been available since Season 1, immediately recognizable by its unique look. It is also one of the very few weapons that have never been removed from the game, perhaps thanks to a partnership with NERF.
The venerable weapon is finally receiving its epic and legendary variants, which come with a significantly different look. The new version will work just like the standard version, but will be improved: It will do more damage — the legendary version should inflict up to 87 damage per shot at a rate of 1.5 shots per second — and will reload a little faster.
