A new update is being deployed in Pokemon GO which mainly concerns quality of life changes to the interface and the Pokémon appraisal system.
Now, when you select 'Appraise' from the Pokémon's menu, your Team Leader — Spark, Candela or Blanche — will show you that Pokémon's stats directly.
This is a change from the previous system, in which you'd have to decrypt their message in order to get a rough idea of the Pokémon's relative strength.
As you can see, you will see your Pokémon's Attack, Defense and HP in a handy bar-chart format. It will also receive a 'star rating' from your Team Leader, with three stars being the best.
Finally, details of that Pokémon's capture will be displayed, including date and location.
Trainers will soon have the chance to don Monkey D. Luffy's iconic straw hat thanks to a new in-game collaboration with One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda.
