Blizzard's franchise players have once again the possibility to organize their own community Esports tournament on one of the six following games:
- Hearthstone
- Heroes of the Storm
- Starcraft II
- Warcraft III
If you want to create your own competition, you'll need a Tournament License from Blizzard that you can obtain following this link.
Here are the rules that you will need to respect.
World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, Starcraft II & Warcraft III
Community License
- Prize pool & appearance fees under $10,000 USD
- Total prize pool for your Hearthstone events within 12 months under $50,000 USD
- Sponsor contributions under $10,000 in value
- Additional restrictions apply. (View License)
Custom License
- Prize pool & appearance fees over $10,000 USD
- Total prize pool for your Hearthstone events within 12 months over $50,000 USD
- Sponsor contributions over $10,000 USD in value
Overwatch Only
Community License
- A single, stand-alone event
- Less than $10,000 USD in prizes and appearance fees
- Less than $1,000 USD in sponsorships
- Total prize pool for your Overwatch events within 12 months under $50,000 USD
- Tournament name must include "community"
- Additional restrictions apply. (View License)
Custom License
- You need a license that allows more freedom than a Community License
