The All-Star Event returns for 2019! Starting December 5, this global event in the competitive League of Legends calendar will take place in Las Vegas — and Teamfight Tactics will also be featured for the first time!

It's a sad day for North America and LCS fans out there. Both Søren 'Bjergsen' Bjerg and Yiliang 'Doublelift' Peng recently announced that the wouldn't compete in Las Vegas.

Who will replace them? According to the votes, Zach 'Sneaky' Scuderi and Bae 'Bang' Jun-sik are the next on the list, meaning they should be picked to replace Bjerg and Peng.

One good news: Sneaky accepted! We can't wait to see the next cosplay he's going to pull off. Perhaps Louis Vuitton's Qiyana...

The votes are over and the representatives of the different regions are known.

Update — November 13

The League of Legends World Championship is now over, make way for the last international meeting of the year: the All-Stars. Fort its seventh edition, the event will be held in Las Vegas. Caps, Broxah, Doinb, Faker and all the others — you can now vote and compose your dream-team!

For now, we're all focused on Worlds — but the competitive League of Legends scene won't suddenly stop after the championships. Riot Games just unveiled when the next All-Star Event will happen.

Get your team jerseys ready, because from December 5–7 the All-Stars are back in Las Vegas!

For the first time in the history of the tournament, Teamfight Tactics will also have his own competition.

Participants

In total, 64 players will compete:

  • 2 pros from each esports region, as voted by fans
  • 6 pro player “All-Star Invitees”, chosen by Riot after the conclusion of the fan vote
  • League Partners (streamers, prominent LoL community members, etc.) from around the world, selected from the League Partner Program
  • Some of the biggest and best TFT personalities from around the world

Fans will have one week to vote for the two pro players that will represent their region. They will also have the possibility to vote for other leagues, but "foreign votes will be weighted to make up no more than 20% of the total vote within any given region".
