After having teased us the participation of The Last of Us Part II during the State of Play through four short videos, it's through a few minutes trailer that Naughty Dog has revealed new images of their game as well as its release date. Fans have been waiting for this for six years!
Five months is what it'll be until we can finally play an adult Ellie ready to fight anyone who gets in her way! It is more precisely on February 21, 2020 that the game will be released on PS4 with 4 editions already announced:
- The Last of Us Part II Standard Edition is available to pre-order on Amazon and Best Buy for $59.99. If you do so, you will have an exclusive PSN Ellie tattoo avatar.
- The Last of Us Part II Special Edition includes a Steelbook with the game (2-discs), a 48 page mini art book, a set of six avatars, and a PS4 dynamic theme. This edition costs $79.99 and is available to pre-order at Best Buy.
- The Last of Us Part II Collector's Edition contains a 12" Ellie statue, Steelbook including full game, a 48 page mini art book, Ellie's Bracelet, six pins, five stickers, an avatar set, a digital soundtrack, a digital artbook, a dynamic theme, and a lithograph art print and thank you letter. This will cost you the sum of $169.99 available to pre-order via Best Buy.
- The Last of Us Part II Ellie Edition is the ultimate edition for all fans who want to treat themselves. It includes everything in the Collector's Edition plus Ellie's backpack, an embroidered patch, and a 7" vinyl record. This edition is available to pre-order at Best Buy for $249.99.
Are we going to have a The Last of Us Part II Joel Edition as it was the case for the first game? Time will show.
