Chovy, the KDA Monster
Jeong "Chovy" Ji-hoon is a young 18-years-old player ruling on the midlane for Griffin. While being a complete rookie, his last split results were incredibly good which lead him to earn the MVP title. During this season, he also became the only player to reach a KDA score of 104: in January, he was recording 44 kills and 60 assists for one death.
Chovy is a very aggressive player but he always takes calculated risks. His ability to snowball on the midlane makes him a massive threat that absolutely needs to be countered. Over the past year, his Akali winrate never went under 80%. He is without a doubt an incredible rookie — perhaps a future star — but he still needs to endure the hardest event of all: Worlds.
Will he be able to adapt to the other regions' playstyles and to handle the pressure of playing at an international scale?
It's D-Day! The League of Legends Worlds 2019 Grand Finals just ended with the win of FunPlus Phoenix. G2 Esports failed to achieve the Grand Slam, and lost 0-3 while facing the LPL champions.
