Huni, the Three-Region Wonder
Heo "Huni" Seung-hoon officially started his career in 2015 when he joined Fnatic as a top player. He quickly became one of the team's key asset notably thanks to his impressive performance on Lissandra and Rumble. After a quite good Spring Split, Fnatic managed to establish and unbeaten record by finishing the season with a perfect 18-0 record. Sadly, this year the Fnatic journey ended up in Worlds Semi-Finals...
Huni left Fnatic the year after and joined Immortals for the NA LCS 2016 Season. Based on their roster, Immortals were supposed to be one of the best LCS teams of that era. However, after an incredible start, Immortals gradually appeared as weaker. They failed to qualify for Worlds, and shorter after that event Huni left Immortals to join SK Telecom1. The three-time world champions welcomed Huni, who couldn't be tagged as a rookie anymore. SKT1 failed to beat Samsung Galaxy in Worlds Finals, and Huni changed team — again.
In November 2017, the former Fnatic & SKT1 toplaner joined Echo Fox, then changed his team again to join Clutch Gaming and ... WHAT A JOURNEY! Clutch Gaming didn't play a perfect 2019 season but they eventually prevailed in the Regional Qualifiers and thus qualified for Worlds as the Third Seed of the NA Region. From Europe to Korea, passing by America, Huni became the first player to reach the World Championship for three different regions.
Huni is a player with a unique talent: he is able to integrate any roster. Overall, he became famous because of his very aggressive and avant-garde style of play in the top plane. Sometimes a bit too ambitious, Huni isn't really performing regularly. He perfectly embodies this type of player capable of both terrific and terrible plays.
