Perkz, the Unexpected Talent

League of Legends

Luka "Perkz" Perković joined G2 Esports when they were called Gamers2 and were mainly operating within the Spanish esports scene. His career had led him to play in several 'small' teams — including Millenium! — as a midlaner. With Caps leaving Fnatic for G2 in 2018, he switched on the bot lane to become the ADC... and suddenly become an incredible player. He quickly learned his role, and actually became far better than he ever was when playing mid. Fun fact: did you know Perkz and Caps were playing rock, paper, scissors to decide who gets the blue buff in mid-game?

2019 has been a great year for G2: they won all the titles including the MSI 2019 — first major competition for Europe since Season 1. Perkz has silenced all doubts in a few weeks and it is imposed as one of the — if not the best ADC in Europe in just one year.

Perkz is now an incredible AD carry, he learned his role so quickly that he even surpassed the level of many of his opponents in record time. However, he is much more threatening than a simple AD carry, since he is capable of playing everything: Yasuo, Syndra, Kai'sa, Sivir, Pyke, etc. This player is a gold mine for drafts and his ability to play everything prevents opposing teams from being able to predict what he will do. His talent is incredibly broad and this allows him to open his team's style of play to new horizons that others do not even dare to imagine.

Nowadays, G2 is an international reference, but Perkz is often forgotten because of Caps Well, he deserves at least as much congratulations for the success of G2. Perkz is the asset that can bring down the biggest teams in the draft.
