After months of speculation, Activision Blizzard have revealed all-new branding ahead of the start of the Call of Duty League (CDL) season that is slated to begin at the beginning of 2020.
The CDL will be played exclusively on Playstation 4, with a prize pool of "over $6 million" for the first year. The 12 teams will be competing for the Call of Duty League Championship, where the winner of the league will be crowned.
As of writing (October 9th) there have been no official confirmations of franchise names and branding but it is expected that branding for all 12 franchises will be revealed in the coming months,
On the official website of the league, it states that teams will travel across North America and Europe to compete in each franchise city. The season is expected to start in 2020, although there has been no formal schedule released.
