Pokemon GO: GO Battle League is coming in 2020

For more than a year now, it has been possible to take part in PvP battles in Pokémon GO. You can challenge your friends, coaches or even other Trainers on the street. With battling having become an important part of the game, a whole new feature will be introduced to Pokémon GO in 2020. This is the GO Battle League.

This feature will allow players to explore the world (the very principle of the game) and participate in Leagues. A certain number of kilometres will have to be covered to access this, and once there, players will be able to battle Trainers worldwide online. The objective? Rise to first place in the Rank system!

The competitive aspect of Pokémon GO is gradually being implemented, and this feature will allow more players to participate.

We will have more information soon. The League is scheduled for early 2020.
