The patch notes for update 1.06 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is now live on PC, Xbox and Playstation. The update is 1.8GB on PS4, 2.4GB on Xbox and 7.5GB on PC.

Infinity Ward have shared patch notes regarding the update, mentioning that there have been several fixes to reduce the number of game crashes and improve overall stability across all platforms.
Along with this, Night-Vision Goggles (NVG) mode has been added with a number of maps being set in the dark and Kill Confirmed makes its return to Call of Duty.
Below is a list of all changes that have been made in this patch:
- Fixes to prevent crashes and improve stability across all platforms.
- Battlechatter has been removed from tactical, one-life game modes.
- APCs and Tanks in Ground War no longer awards points towards a nuke.
- Fix for charms affecting weapon performance when firing from the hip.
- Stun Grenades now disable Claymores for three seconds.
- Adjustments to 3rd person footsteps. They will now filter out based on occlusion more.
- Fixed an issue where Tactical Insertions could cause players to spawn out of bounds.
- Fix for the gold camo not unlcoking on the .357 pistol.
