We talked about it a month ago just after the discovery of code lines (HLVR project) by YouTuber Tyler McVicker: among the three AAA VR games that Valve promised to unveil before the end of the year, there could be a game that we then called Half-Life VR, whose launch is scheduled for 2020.
Well, this seems to be true since the rumor is still spreading, adding more and more information in this direction. We learned from Midoriyan, an informant who was already behind DOTA Underlords' leak, that it should be called Half Life: Alyx, and that it should be released in March 2020.
Cherry on the top, all this should be confirmed by Valve as early as December 12 during the Game Awards ceremony. That seems all the more likely as the latest rumor relies on a discussion, which has been transcribed in writing, between Geoff Keighley, host and producer of the Game Awards and Robin Walker, Game Designer at Valve.
As a reminder, according to last month's information, the game should put us in control of Alex Vance, in a story that took place over the 20 years between Half-Life 1 and Half Life 2 and where Grabbity Gloves, better suited to VR, would replace the Gravity Gun.
