Overwatch: Competitive Team Deathmatch is back for Season 2!

The first session took place at the end of 2018 (from 28 October) in Overwatch just at the end of season 12, and it is now time for the 4v4 game mode to return to competitive mode! Form your team of four people and enter the competition to try to become the best deathmatch players!

The game mode

The Competitive Deathmatch mode pits two teams of four players against each other, each trying to eliminate as many opponents as possible in order to reach the 30 kills that will give them victory.

If you can all try to play it solo, take your best DPSs and make as many eliminations as possible, you risk seeing this strategy fail in the face of a solid and above all united team that communicates and helps each other. A healer and a tank are recommended in this game mode, and adaptation will often be the key.

Suggested picks

Two things count in this game mode: elimination and survival. Choose characters who quickly eliminate their target, and if possible who are able to eliminate it alone. The possibility of healing or escaping is also a great asset in team fighting to death. In good hands, Widowmaker and Hanzo can be devastating, for example. Doomfist and McCree will also be good choices and punish any adverse mistakes. Pharah will be able to respond to certain compositions, but be careful, she will often be ineffective without a good healer.

Ana or Moira will be very good in the game mode, able to do both a lot of healing and damage. Special mention for Ana's sleep, which, if placed correctly, will save a lot of situations.

For tanks, Chopper is an excellent choice, able to heal and eliminate targets on its own.

Rewards

As always, you will be able to get two player icons and 2 tags. The first of each if you finish your ranking games, the other two if you reach the top 500 in this mode.
