The new upgrades of the Shadowbringers Relics — the Resistance Weapons — are available in Final Fantasy XIV.
Brought by Patch 5.35 of the game you will be able to upgrade them if you completed the first phase of these relics.

With Patch 5.55 the final Relic Weapons upgrades are now available in Final Fantasy XIV. Here's how to get the Mechanic Parts, Memories and Emotions and upgrade your Resistance Weapons.
FFXIV 5.35 Resistance Weapons — Relic Upgrade
To unlock the upgrade of your relic weapon you will first need to go and start the new Save the Queen: Blades of Gunnhildr story in Gangos by talking to Marsak (X: 6.4 Y: 5.7) and taking the quest called "Where Eagles Nest".
This will unlock the Bozjan Southern Front and a new quest that will start your journey to upgrading your relic.
To upgrade your relic take the quest called "A Sober Proposal" from the Stressed Soldier in Gangos (X: 5.5 Y: 5.3).
After completing this one, make sure to grab the next quest called "For Want of a Memory" Relic Quest from Zlatan in Gangos (X: 6.1 Y: 4.9).
To upgrade your relic you will need to bring very specific items called "Memory of the Dying" to Zlatan in Gangos (X: 6.1 Y: 4.9).
If you are looking to upgrade your relic after Patch 5.35 of FFXIV here is the quickest way to farm the sixty Memory of the Dying
There are three types of Memory of the Dying and you will need 20 of each to complete your relic weapon upgrade:
- Tortured Memory of the Dying
- Sorrowful Memory of the Dying
- Harrowing Memory of the Dying
You can get these from the Bozjan Southern Front but also from FATES in specific zones or Eorzea.
- Tortured Memory of the Dying can be farmed in Coerthas Western Highlands and the Sea of Clouds
- Sorrowful Memory of the Dying in Dravanian Forelands and the Churning Mists
- Harrowing Memory of the Dying can be found in Dravanian Hinterlands and Azys lla.
Once this step is clear you can go back to Zlatan and continue to the next step by taking the quest called "The Will to Resist".
The next step that adds the glow on the relic will ask players to collect Bitter memory of the Dying in either Bozjan Southern Front FATES or in dungeons (one memory per dungeon).
