Alien Artifacts are new resources introduced in Fortnite Season 7 which are to be collected on a weekly basis. They allow players to customise their Kymera however they want: colours, face shapes, and armour. The ways players can customise their alien skin is infinite.
For Week 3, the number of artifacts to collect has decreased to four instead of five. Make sure they're all collected in order to be able to continue unlocking styles. All the Alien Artifacts this week are located on the western half of the Island. This will make it a bit easier to collect them all, especially if players are able to get a good vehicle.
Where to find the Alien Artifacts
Some Alien Artifacts are more hidden than others, sometimes players may have build a ramp to get to them. Remember that Alien Artifacts only require contact with the player's character to be acquired. No need to interact or start an animation; just run through them.
Once these resources are in your pocket, all that is left to be done is to go to the Battle Pass tab and customise Kymera! A wide variety of choices and colours are available, but choose sparingly as 360 Alien Artifacts are required to unlock everything.
In the second season of Chapter 2, a similar skin customisation process was experienced with Maya, a trained special agent. The concept was very popular at the time, with millions of possible combinations, allowing each player to create a truly unique character to play as.
