Disney Dreamlight Valley is finally released this Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in Early Access on all platforms. All means are good: whether it's exploring the open world by unlocking the passages of nocturnal thorns thanks to the Dreamlight, or going through the castle and its magic paintings. Today we are going to focus on Kristoff.
Introducing Kristoff in Frozen
Kristoff is the fiancé of Anna, Elsa's little sister in the 2013 animated film Frozen. It is also strongly inspired by a tale of the same name by Hans Christian Andersen published in 1844. In the cinema, the story of Disney delighted young and old with the famous Princess Anna, always optimistic, who will do everything to save her sister from ice magic spiraling out of control. On the way, she will meet Olaf, a snowman, and Kristoff, the love of her life always accompanied by her reindeer Sven. In the game, we find Anna, Kristoff and Elsa for the moment.
Unlock Kristoff, his house and his rewards by friendship level
Kristoff only unlocks if you have advanced far enough with Merlin and opened the passage to the Forest of Courage. So you don't need to go to the Frozen Kingdom. Once in the forest, the quest "lost in the dark grove".

Kristoff's house is based in the Forest of Courage , it is the small ice castle he shares with Anna.
Below are the rewards Kristoff gives you at each friendship level. Level 10 is the maximum you can reach. Then, it will no longer be useless to make him gain experience, but it will always be more advantageous to take him to accompany you on an excursion since his bonuses will be higher.
Like any other character, Kristoff will offer you to follow friendship quests to advance the scenario and its level.

When opening the passage to the Forest of Courage , you will hear a strange sound and trigger the quest. Search the place a bit to find Kristoff and talk to him. He will show you a dark portal that you will have to go through (by pressing the interact button as if you wanted to enter a house). Once inside, move forward a little to find a golden feather that you will have to follow until you come across Donald. It is also thanks to this quest that you will unlock Scrooge's nephew in your kingdom. Place the orb on the pillar next to the teleport portal to complete the quest.

Kristoff will want to make soap . To do this, you will first need to collect the burnt logs that are on the ground in the Forest of Courage. They are to the left of the large ice stairs. This will allow you to craft ashes through your workbench. Then soda by putting the ashes in a cooking pot.
You will then have to ask Maui what her secret is to having such silky hair and can go collect some coconuts on the Enchanted Beach. With 20 carrots, 12 coconuts and the soda, make the carrot soap via your workbench.

Friendship Quest 3 - Level 6
This quest is very important because it will allow you to unlock Kristoff's material sales booth ! (Every day, he can then sell you useful ingredients such as sand, glass, clay, string etc.). To get started, talk to Goofy for building tips. You will need to gather the following materials to build Kristoff's Stand:
- 50 softwood (everywhere on the ground, especially at the Esplanade and Prairie Tranquille)
- 50 stone (by breaking cliff mines or rocks)
- 35 Hardwood (Bayou of Confidence or Forest of Courage)

Then craft the stand via your workbench and place it where you want it. You will have to complete Kristoff's other quests to improve it.

Friendship Quest 4 - Level 3
You must have unlocked and progressed enough with Elsa and Anna. After talking to the Snow Queen, you'll need to gather 6 Aquamarines (Enchanted Beach or Forest of Courage) but also Swamp Water (spot the glitter at the water's edge at Trust Bayou). The objective will be for Kristoff to remember the love he has for Anna: go talk to her to get a lock of hair.
Thanks to these ingredients, Elsa will be able to make a magic block of ice that you will have to place in the Forest of Courage using the furniture menu. Then use your pickaxe on it to release a memory: the block of ice will take the form of a statue of Anna.
A broken sled
Friendship Quest 5 - Level 10
To unlock this quest, you will need to have access to the Frozen Heights and the Bayou of Trust. Talk to Kristoff and follow him to his broken sled, next to the pillar in the Frozen Heights. Use your pickaxe to pull it out of the ice and pick it up.
Go to Anna and Kristoff's house (forest) to take the book in the library: it will teach you how to repair the sled. Collect the following ingredients:
- 50 fiber (you will need seaweed)
- 30 hardwood
- 10 iron ingot
- 9 crafting pieces (crafted with iron ingots at the workbench)
Now craft the sled via the workbench in the "furniture" tab and bring it back to Kristoff. He will be so happy that he will want to enlarge his stand. To do this, you will need to bring him a copy of each of the following materials:
- 1 fiber (seaweed)
- 1 brick (clay)
- 1 glass (sand)
- 1 iron ingot (iron ore)
