The Nightmare challenges continue this week in Fortnite, with a new round of challenges. For this one, you will venture into the haunted houses of the island, to find and destroy haunted furniture. The trickiest part of this mission will be to spot these somewhat special objects. We recommend landing in Greasy Grove , which is full of haunted houses.
Where to find haunted furniture?
Haunted furniture is found exclusively in haunted houses. You will recognize these cursed buildings by the purple lights on their roofs . There are several at the locality of Greasy Grove.
It is inside the houses that you will then have to look.
What does haunted furniture look like?
Haunted furniture is "regular" furniture in houses, except that it levitates slightly and has a faint bluish halo around it .
These are generally armchairs, chairs, wooden boxes...
You just have to hit them with a pickaxe to destroy them.
To complete this challenge, you must break 7 haunted furniture. It is quite possible to complete this challenge with 7 different haunted furniture in a single game, but nothing prevents you from doing it several times. You can even restart games, and always attack furniture from the same house. Your destructions will add up from game to game.
Since the Nightmare Challenges are short-lived, many rival players will land in Greasy Grove during the event. Quickly equip yourself with a weapon before looking for furniture, and eliminate in priority the enemies who land on the same house as you.
