This issue has likely existed since the beginning of Fortnite Chapter 2, but no one had clearly identified it until last week.
Nickmercs then highlighted this perfectly viable glitch — still possible to perform at the time of writing.
It's a relatively simple glitch to trigger, and quite impactful — it ignores fall damage when passing through a bush. This even applies to falls from a very large height.
This is how it's done:
- Pass through a traversible bush;
- Once the bush has been passed through — scattered foliage indicates this has been successful — your next fall or jump will not cause fall damage.
Although the bug is easily exploitable, it's tricky to refrain from jumping in the middle of a fight!
In theory, this bug will likely be patched out in the weekly update, which should take place tomorrow or Wednesday.
