Fortnite's Chapter 2 Season 1 breaks season length records, and it's not over yet! Today, the data miners have detected in files the new beginning date for Season 2, which would be February 20. In a recent press release, Epic Games had already considerably postponed the current season, estimating its end on February 6, 2020. This new date sounds like a hard blow for the community, which is already in need of new content.
The existence of another file, mentioning a version 11.50, reinforces the thesis of a new season beginning on February 20. Less than two weeks before the first announced date (February 6), it's hard to imagine how Epic Games can deploy such an ephemeral update... End of February is more plausible, since it allows us to imagine a new update deployment late January.
With this potential new date, the inaugural season of Fortnite's Chapter 2 will have lasted more than 100 days. It should be noted that at the time of writing, Epic Games hasn't confirmed this delay. The information remains to be taken with a grain of salt!
