In addition, Twitch had organized the Twitch Rivals Streamer Bowl. Featuring 16 different duos, this event kicked off Super Bowl weekend.
The premise is simple: a top streamer teamed up with a pro football player in order to win a charity prize of $500,000. The winners had the right to choose the charity to which they wish to donate the money.
The tournament was live from the NFL Players Association party in Miami, and was also streamed on the official Twitch Rivals channel.
The tournament ended with the victory of Clix and Tarik Cohen — running back for the Chicago Bears. In total, they made 23 eliminations allowing them to score 69 points and take the lead in the standings. Tfue is in second place with his partner Kyler Murray. As for Bugha and JuJu Smith-Schuster, they finished in fourth place with only 8 eliminations in total.
