While the FNCS Solo Invitational has been taking place every weekend lately, the Kyle "Bugha" Giersdorf and Liquid STRETCH duo has just split up. That's what the latter announced on his twitter account. The two started playing together with Shawn "clarityG" Washington in Fortnite Season X.
Despite their good standing in Chapter 2 Season 2 FNCS (5th place), it seems that the fact that Bugha wants to pursue a career as a streamer alongside his career as a professional player is the main issue, as he adds to his tweet "streaming > competitive for somebody like him."
This news comes just after the postponement of the Duos Cash Cup on May 4. They played six games in the first round, accumulated 178 points and finished in 4,685th place. During the same tournament, Bugha changed partners to OwlFN with whom he qualified for the second round by playing only three matches.
Will the two players end up forming a duo over time? Only time will tell!
