Patch 13.00 is the patch that opens Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3. It deploys a very large number of new features: weapons, new locations, new functionalities...
Epic Games hasn't released a full official patch notes for v13.00. We're doing our best to gather the news and summarize them below.
New Map
Fortnite Battle Royale always manages to renew itself to offer a dynamic gaming experience to its players. Chapter 2 Season 3 promises a particularly interesting gameplay according to the future map that leaked on the networks. Flooded, it will be divided into several islands.

New Bosses/Mythical Weapons
The factional war between Shadow and Ghost is no longer in effect. Even though the Lair Leaders are no longer present, they have been "replaced" by new NPC bosses who have appeared at various locations on the map. They're equipped with new mythical weapons!
With Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3, new mythical boss weapons have appeared. Very rare, they're the most powerful in-game.

Whirlpool
Vortex is one of the new features in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3. It allows players to be propelled into the air so they can redeploy their gliders!
New Consumables
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 brings a lot of new features. Among them, you'll find new consumables, items that are naturally found on the ground and give you various bonuses.
